Students enrolled in this course will work with low fire clay and glazes. Your course fee includes one 25 lb bag of clay for your class use. You may purchase additional clay if desired.
Pottery tools and supplies will be available for all classes. All kiln firings for projects completed during class hours are also included.
In this course, you will learn the basics of hand-building clay using the slab roller and clay
extruder. You will learn how to use templates to cut, score and adjoin clay to make almost
anything! Platters, serving trays and bowls can easily be made from various studio molds.
This course is open to students of all levels - beginners to advanced. Work at your own pace! Do the projects demonstrated or work on your own.
